🎬 “I finally came back for you, Rachel…”
We are beyond thrilled (and a little terrified ) to welcome Andrew Hubatsek to Hudson Valley Horror Fest 2025!
On April 21, 1989, the world was introduced to one of the most chilling characters in horror history when Pet Sematary hit theaters. Directed by Mary Lambert and based on the screenplay by Stephen King himself, the film featured Andrew Hubatsek in the unforgettable role of Zelda, Rachel Creed’s tormented sister.

Andrew’s haunting portrayal of Zelda left a permanent mark on horror fans, delivering one of the most nightmare-inducing performances of the decade. His delivery of the spine-tingling line
💀 “I’m going to twist your back like mine, so you’ll never get out of bed again…” —has echoed in our nightmares ever since.
In addition to Pet Sematary, Andrew appeared in Blue Steel (1990) alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, and Human Resources (2014), directed by Keil Troisi — whose earlier film Cicada was featured at the 2022 Creature Feature Weekend Film Festival.
