Christopher Di Cesare is a special education teacher, author, extreme haunting survivor, and public speaker. His terrifying experience as a SUNY Geneseo college student, back in 1985, has been shared on such notable platforms as the SyFy Network’s “School Spirits – Dorm Room Nightmare” (2012); Coast to Coast AM with George Noory (2015); the Travel Channel’s “My Horror Story” (2015); and most notably, in the James Wan produced Netflix Top Ten docuseries “True Haunting.” Released on October 7th 2025, it was viewed by more than 5.2 million people the first week and was ranked at No. 5 on the Netflix Global Rankings.

The C2D1 Haunting ranks among the most documented paranormal events in US history, defined by full-bodied apparitions, disembodied voices, moving objects, physical attacks, a priest’s blessing, photographs and real-time audio tapes. It was a paranormal experience that found a teenaged Di Cesare at its epicenter, and to whom urban legend ascribed the nicknames “The Ghost Boy of Geneseo” and “The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall.”
Di Cesare, who was recently featured in People magazine and the Wall Street Journal, is currently embarked on a book tour promoting his latest release: The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall, which provides an unprecedented look inside the events of this world-famous haunting.
